Annotated Bibliography for Globalization to our society

In the article “Globalization with its possitive and negative aspects ,” author Nguyen Manh Tuan explains how globalization affects our word on both social and economic aspects. In the first part of the article, he introduced the definition, which is “globalization is the process of growing integration of economies and societies around the world.” He also gives us an example about how after joining the WTO, Vietnam has attracted many foreign investors and it has affected all aspects of Vietnamese daily life. Moverover, the author explain the positive effects about globalization. These are the development of the economy, the improvment of the quality life, and foeign trade becoming easier. Furthermore, the article told us some negative effects about globalization, like it increases inequality between different countries, increases environmental degradation and increases inflation rate. Finally, the author said we should use globalization to make our country better because it can be a good chance for development and prosperity of our country.




In the article “Is Globalization Good or Bad,”  author Rujuta Borkat explains what globalization offers and affects our society. He supports this claim by introduced the importance of globalization. Furthermore, the author said some offers from globalization, such as it provides wider choices, improves quality of products, and improves transportation. He also said it boosts economy, provides freedom of choice and promotes progressive thinking. Moreover, he introduced some effects from globalization, like globalization affects local markets, promotes danger of spreading disease, creates social divides and leads to wastage of resources. Finally, the author said globalization is good or bad depends on each country to be able to strike a balance between the good and bad.
